Please read Tauro Designs' Terms and Conditions prior to your Initial Consultation.
Tauro Designs offers Interior Design based services, Property Styling and Virtual Consultations.
PAYMENT TERMS
- Tauro Designs' payment are on a project by project basis unless alternative arrangement is made. We accept direct debit or MasterCard, Visa, Debit via PayPal. We do not accept American Express. Late payments will incur a penalty fee.
- If any money is owed by the client to the Designer under the Design Contract, the Designer may withhold performance of any services until the arrangement for payment have been agreed by the Designer with the Client.
- If you are in arrears in any payment due to Tauro Designs in accordance with our scope and invoice, you shall pay, in addition to the arrears, interest at the rate of twelve (12%) per cent per annum on all arrears for each day during which the default continues.
- All payments must be made prior to the due date stated on the Invoice.

Tauro Designs will always do their best to meet your Design requirements.
GENERAL ENQUIRES
We accept email enquiries about our services and product range. We always try to respond within 24-48 hours of receiving your enquiry.
Tauro Designs Terms and Conditions take account of Australian legislation including:
- the Personal Property Securities Act 2009 (Cth) and the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
TERMINATION OF CONTRACT
Tauro Designs has the right to terminate the contract at any time if there is a breach of contract or failure to receive payment prior scheduled appointment.

All rights, including copyright, in the content of www.taurodesigns.com.au web pages are owned and controlled by Tauro Designs.
INTERIOR DESIGN SERVICES
Tauro Designs provides the following services
- The quality, quantity and description of the services are displayed in the initial contract/scope of quotes.
- The Designer shall ensure that they complete the services in accordance with the Design Contract.
- If the Designer performed any services for the Client prior to the operative date of the Design Contract, those services shall be incorporated in the Design Contract.
- The designer will ensure that she maintains communication during the design process via email/phone, etc.
- Tauro Designs reserves the right to cancel orders and refund the client should the need/event arise.
DESIGN/CONCEPT BOARDS:
One revision to the concept board is included. Additional revisions are billed at hourly rate of $120.00. Interior Design is a subjective art and profession and we create a design based on the information discussed during the Initial Consultation. Tauro Designs cannot provide any refunds due to change of mind/style. Please do feel free to contact the office and we will be happy to discuss the design concepts further over the phone and make further recommendations.
CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACKNOWLEDGMENT
- Without listing the provisions of the Scope of Works, the Client’s responsibilities and obligations under the Design Contract include:
- Providing materials and written approvals and/or instructions in accordance with the Design Contract.
- Coordination of any decision making with parties other than the Designer
- Provision of the builder’s working drawings and schedule of works in a form of suitable for use by the Designer
- Providing information from third parties required for the Designer to perform services
REVIEW AND APPROVAL OF DOCUMENTS BY THE CLIENT:
a. The Client must, promptly (and in any event, within any time identified in the Design Contract for such review), review any Document(s) provided by the Designer and:
i. if the Document(s) comply with the requirements of the Design Contract, approve the Document(s); or
ii. if the Document(s) do not comply with the Design Contract, reject the Document(s) and provide details of the non-compliance.
b. If the Client fails to respond to the Designer within the latter of 15 days of receipt of the Document(s) and any time specified in the Design Contract for its review, then the Document(s) are deemed to be approved and accepted by the Client.
c. If the Document(s) are rejected by the Client under clause 6aii above:
i. the Designer shall be entitled to request written clarification of any concern, objection, or correction, which must be promptly confirmed by the Client; and
ii. subject to receipt of confirmation by the Client as applicable under clause 6cii above, amend the Document(s) as required to ensure compliance with the Design Contract and resubmit to the Client, in which case clause 6a will reapply in respect of the amended Document(s).
d. Notwithstanding that a Document complies with the requirements of the Design Contact, the Designer may agree with the Client to amend the Document in which case clause 9 will apply
CLIENT ORDER
Client Orders:
- For all product orders payment in full must be received before any orders will be processed. Please make payments via EFT. Once payment is received the order cannot be refunded. Tauro Designs does not accept deposits and product orders can only be processed when the invoice has been paid in full.
- Tauro Designs accepts no liability for any faulty products and any claims need to be made by the client to each supplier directly.
- Tauro Designs accepts no liability for incorrect choice and does not give refunds for change of mind. All products chosen are to be decided upon by the client and it is the client’s responsibility to check all measurements of products before ordering. It is the client’s responsibility to measure all access points and areas of their property to confirm that all products ordered will be able to access the property. Failure to do so may result in furniture not being able to be placed in the property and Tauro Designs is not liable for access measurements not being checked by the client.
- Tauro Designs uses a wide variety of suppliers who all use their own nominated delivery companies. Tauro Designs is not liable for any damage caused to client property by delivery companies. If damage does occur any damage claims are to be made directly to the delivery company by the client.
- Authority to leave: If a client chooses and gives approval for goods to be delivered and left at the front door it is the client’s responsibility to collect the goods. Tauro Designs is not responsible for any theft or damage to goods once they have been delivered.
- Tauro Designs is not responsible for shipping and manufacturing delays. All efforts will be made to adhere to proposed order time-lines but due to unforeseen delays products may arrive later than expected.
- As fabric rolls have different Dye lots, variation can occur from samples provided. Variations may occur in natural timber products. Due to the nature of timber being a natural product, variations in colour and the natural pattern may occur from the sample given.
- Finish stain colours may differ slightly from samples shown. Please note this includes solid timber products, veneers and flooring. Please note imperfections, knots and cracks in timber products are a natural feature and not a fault and are an inherent feature of rustic timber furniture.
- Please note paint colour may vary from brushed out swatch due to available light, colour mixing ratio, paint brand and type of paint used. Tauro Designs is not liable for paint colour variation. Any dispute must be dealt with directly between the client and painter or manufacturer.
- Products may vary in colour, tone, lightness and texture from images shown online. Tauro Designs is not responsible or liable for variations that may be present in products which may differ from images shown online or on a computer monitor or device. It is the client’s responsibility to view each product onscreen before placing an order. It is recommended that clients visit showrooms of products before ordering.
PROFESSIONAL ADVICE MAY BE REQUIRED
You may not rely on any of the contents of this website in arranging your affairs. You must obtain independent advice in respect of any specific issues that you seek to understand or resolve. The information contained in this website does not take into account any persons particular circumstances and it is always necessary to consult you own qualified advisor about your particular position, circumstances and needs.
PRIVACY POLICY
Tauro Designs will not pass on your personal details to any third party your without permission.
We are bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Privacy Act) and the 13 Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) therein set out. The APPs regulate the way that certain entities handle personal information.
By using our website at www.taurodesigns.com.au and/or providing your personal information to us you consent to us handling your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
EXCLUSIONS OF LIABILITY
Tauro Designs will rely entirely upon measurements provided by the client in designing the room and furntiure layout and recommending items to purchase either by the client or directly through Tauro Designs. It’s the clients responsibility to ensure that the measurements are accurate.
If the measurements are done by the Designer, it’s our responsibility to ensure the measurements are accurate. Tauro Designs will not accept any responsibility nor any liability in the event that any recommended item does not fit in the space as shown on the floor plan due to the client’s failure to provide measurements and/or in providing incorrect and/or inaccurate measurements. These disclaimers and exclusions shall be goverened by and construed in accordance with Australian Law. If any provisions of these disclaimers and exclusions shall be unlawful, void or for any reason, unenforceable then that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
LIABILITY
Tauro Designs does not accept liability for any errors and or/ omissions contained in our website and reserve the right to change information, prices, specifications and descriptions of listed products and services at any time and without notice. Tauro Designs has taken many measures to prevent Internet fraud and ensure that data collected from you is stored securely and safely as possible. However, Tauro Designs cannot be held liable in the extremely unlikely event of a breach in secure computer servers. Tauro Designs shall have no liability to you for any delay in the delivery of products ordered or any
other matters to the extent that the delay is due to any event outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, flood, fire, labour disputes, strikes, lock-outs, riots, civil commotion or similar events.
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any implied warranty of condition is limited, at our discretion, to one or more of the following:
1) the supply of the service again; or
2) the payment of the cost of having the service supplied again”.
PROPERTY STYLING WITH TAURO DESIGNS
KEY INFORMATION:
- Furniture will be hired for 6 weeks by Tauro Designs through a Third-Party Furniture Hire party. In the case of damage or theft, please speak directly with the Third-Party Furniture Hirer Company.
- Transportation for the delivery and installation of furniture is organised through Tauro Design’s to a Third-Party Transport Business.
Tauro Designs is not liable for any damage within the property. This is to be dealt with directly to the owner of the Third-Party Transport Company..
- All artwork may be placed on appropriate wall areas, which will require hooks and nails placed in walls. This is to avoid and OHS complications.
We do not work with 3MM hooks.
- Some furniture items or décor pieces may vary from itemised quote according to designer set up.
BEFORE WE VISIT, PLEASE DO THE FOLLOWING
- Ensure the property is clean!
- Ensure that the power is switched on
- Following the OH&S Guidelines, we will not style the property if there is Trades present or building onsite. If there is any trades onsite when have scheduled to style, a cancellation fee of $250 will be charged.
- A key must be provided for access through the vendor or agent, or the vendor must be onsite upon our arrival.
- All items kept onsite must remain onsite until our scheduled collection date
- Acknowledgement there is no rebate should the property sell prior to Auction or due to change of mind.
ACCEPTANCE OF THE QUOTE
If you are happy to proceed with the quote provided, we ask that you sign TERMS AND CONDITIONS below, stating that you agree to our policy and understand our “Service agreement.” We require the full payment upfront no less than 7 days prior to the installation date. Where an immediate installation is sought Tauro Designs will require confirmation within 24 hours of you receiving a quote. Once this agreement is signed and returned, we will commence with sending through an Invoice for payment.
REBATE AND COLLECTION CLAUSE
- A rebate will not be provided if the property is sold prior to agreed six-week hire period.
- Tauro Designs reserves the right to collect furniture on first available collection day following a successful auction result.
PAYMENTS AND REFUNDS
- Any issues, damage or concerns in regards to the installation at the property must be notified within 24 hours of installation.
- If for any reason, you are unsatisfied with the service, Tauro Designs will endeavour to resolve the situation as quickly as possible at no extra charge to the client.
- As a small business, Tauro Designs reserves the right to withhold up to 30% of the job to cover expenses of styling the job. This involves costs of transport, staff, etc to ensure the job was completed. Once the job is completed, we are unable to offer a full refund, but will work access on a case by case basis and work with you to resolve the issue.

VARIATION CLAUSE
Please note any changes requested by vendor or agent will be charged at minimum $200 plus any additional hire fees if applicable. Rebates will not be offered for items removed.
DELAYS TO INSTALLATION
Installation date bookings are final. Amendments to booking dates may incur additional charges or cancellation fees. Delays to installation date due to property access, property works, building timeline or amendments to auction date that exceed 7 days will incur a 10% holding fee as all furniture will be not available for other jobs.
