At Tauro Designs, we design and decorate homes tailored to suit you. Our Interior Design services are not a “one size fits all” approach. I will take the time to get to know you, understand what you are looking to achieve and create a design that suits your lifestyle. Whether you are looking at designing a new build, renovating your existing home or simply redecorating, I am happy to provide you all my creative knowledge to help you create a home that you will love forever.

however it may change accordingly, based on your project.

INTERIORS CONSULTATION

This is the most important step for any design. It allows time for me, the Designer, to get know you. During this consultation, I will listen to you, understand what you are looking for and ask a few questions to ensure that we are both on the same page. I will briefly discuss some ideas and suggestions, so you know what I have in mind, but most importantly listen to my client, view the potential project and measure accordingly.

This Consultation can generally run up to 90 minutes and allows plenty of time to get to know one another before taking a big step and redesigning your space.

MOOD BOARDS

Prefer to see things pieced together before you spend thousands of dollars? Well this Design Process is one of the best ways to learn what you love and hate prior to spending money on the product itself. Mood Boards are an upfront visual presentation of a specific room or style, with images of furniture, materials, decorative items, etc – to give an insight to the vision I have in mind for your home. The products included in this Mood Board are based on the information discussed during our Initial Consultation – where I get to understand a little about your style, your existing features and the functionality of the space. In the board, a list of the products and suppliers are included – with the option of purchasing through Tauro Designs or giving you the confidence to purchase these items yourself.

When the board is complete, I will present this to you (in person or via Zoom) to give you a clear understanding of why I have selected specific products.
This service may be for you if:

You are building your new home and have no idea where to start
You are renovating and working with existing items/features
You have a specific budget but need guidance with the style
You want a Mood Board to take with you when sourcing the furniture/decorative items for your home
You know what style you like and what you want, but have no idea how to visualise everything together

MATERIAL BOARDS &
COLOUR CONSULTATIONS

You may be building your new house or becoming overwhelmed with all the selections and samples provided. Which shade of white do I choose? Which grey tile out of the 10 options provided? It can be extremely overwhelming! I can assist you as much or as little as you need, to make sure there are no colour clashes or that your palette flows from the front door to the back of your home.

Colour Consultations are a great way for us both to be involved in the process, where I can come to your scheduled colour appointment or schedule an appointment individually to go through some colours and materials.

Materials Boards however are slightly different. This process involves a couple of scheduled appointments at local suppliers or with your builder to piece together all the materials for your project. I have created this as a unique package, which factors in the time and hours spent to piece together these materials.

Both options are great, but it is entirely up to the individual client as to what they want to do.
As you know, no client is the same, nor is the design.
